JENNIFER MCCAULEY - Director of Nursing Health X


Jennifer is a degree qualified Registered Nurse with over 25 years experience in the acute and chronic health sector. She has recently held executive level health appointments in both Queensland and Victoria including Director of Nursing and subsequently General Manager St Vincent’s Private Hospital Toowoomba, and most recently as Director of Nursing for one of the most prestigious metropolitan acute hospitals in Melbourne. In these roles Jennifer has brought fresh ideas in development and deployment of innovative nursing models of care and she now brings to AWX Health a firm commitment to a better health service to all Australians through the recruitment, retention and appropriate deployment of highly qualified nursing staff to all health sectors. Jennifer is committed to being part of the solution to the crisis facing health care particularly in regional and remote Australia.

ROSS PITT - Health Systems Advisor

 

Ross has extensive experience, proven through his appointments as Former Deputy-Director General of Queensland Health, a former Director of the University of Queensland’s Centre for Primary Health Care (Social and Preventive Medicine Department), and a former adjunct Associate Professor of the University of Queensland’s Health Sciences Faculty. He is currently Chair of Ford Health which screens workforces for chronic disease, Director of the Multifaith Academy for Chaplaincy and Community Ministries, Trustee of the Silver Lining Foundation, and Chair of Canossa Care. He describes himself as a major advocate for Population Health strategies and for moving health services closer to where patients live.

ROBERT ARMSTRONG - International Operations


Robert Armstrong has more than 38 years experience in international business, training, education and public service, and during this time has completed business in more than 40 countries. He has spent a number of years lecturing, in international trade, at universities in China and Australia – living in china for a period of three years. He is also closely involved in development of training institutes in Bangladesh and the Philippines. He has been a board member of several Australian regional development organisations and has served on a number of federal and state Government boards and committees. In 2008, Robert joined AWX to lead the development of the AWX foot print in the Philippines for recruitment and training of an international workforce. In conjunction with these developments, Robert is working on regional development and education projects in Malaysia, Brunei and Bangladesh.
